New Delhi- Central Delhi Kings edged past Outer Delhi Warriors by 12 runs in a tense Delhi Premier League clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Batting first, the Kings posted 161/8, with Aditya Bhandari scoring a crucial 41 off 27 balls and Simarjeet Singh adding a quick 19 off 8. Siddhant Sharma (3/33) and Shivam Sharma (2/21) were the pick of the Warriors’ bowlers.
In reply, Warriors slumped to 43/5 before Keshav Dabas (64 off 45) and Harsh Tyagi (31 off 29) added 64 runs for the sixth wicket. However, Simarjeet Singh (2/27) and Money Grewal (2/28) struck at key moments to restrict them to 149/8.
