Kiraak Hyderabad Crowned Pro Panja League Season 2 Champions After Beating Rohtak Rowdies

Gwalior, Kiraak Hyderabad clinched the Pro Panja League Season 2 title with a dominant 30-18 victory over Rohtak Rowdies in the grand finale at Gwalior on Thursday.

The Hyderabad side, runners-up in the previous season, went one step further this year, lifting the coveted trophy along with a cash prize of ₹20 lakh.

The highlight of the night came when Stewe Thomas broke the league record with the fastest pin of the tournament, defeating Deepankhor Mech in just 0.09 seconds. His performance also earned him the title of Badshaho ka Badshah.

Among other awards, Satnam Singh (Kiraak Hyderabad) was named Player of the Tournament, while Nirmal Devi (Rohtak Rowdies) bagged the Player of the Day honour.

In the undercard matches, Kiraak Hyderabad swept all four bouts with wins from Aviliye Zuyie, Naveen MV, Rachna Jatav, and captain Asker Ali. Rohtak Rowdies fought back in the main card through Srinivas BV and Nirmal Devi, but Hyderabad regained control with stellar performances from Aabhas Rana and Madhura KN. Stewe Thomas’s record-breaking win sealed the title with a match to spare.

The final was attended by dignitaries including Pro Panja League co-founders Parvinn Dabas and Preeti Jhangiani, IOC member Dr. Narinder Dhruv Batra, and Olympic medallist Vijender Singh, who cheered as team ambassador for Rohtak Rowdies.

With this triumph, Kiraak Hyderabad finished their dominant campaign in style, establishing themselves as the new powerhouse of the Pro Panja League.
