New Delhi – North Delhi Strikers put up an impressive all-round performance to secure a 27-run win over Purani Dilli 6 in the 16th match of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) Season 2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Batting first after being put in, the Strikers made a strong start with openers Sarthak Ranjan (51 off 33 balls) and Arnav Bugga (39 off 26) adding 58 runs in the powerplay. Despite a middle-order slump caused by Rajneesh Dadar (3/39), Lalit Yadav, and Udhav Mohan, they managed a competitive 179/8 in 20 overs.
In reply, Purani Dilli 6 suffered an early collapse, losing three wickets for 13 runs. Vansh Bedi’s explosive 33 off 17 balls and Pranav Pant’s steady 40 brought some resistance, but the chase faltered in the death overs. Deepanshu Gulia (3/17) and Harshit Rana led the bowling effort to bundle out Purani Dilli 6 for 152.
