Opting to bat, Central Delhi Kings piled up 197/7 in their allotted overs. The star of the innings was Dhull, who struck a commanding 101 off 56 deliveries, decorated with eight fours and seven sixes. His explosive yet calculated knock provided the backbone of the innings. He was ably supported by Yugal Saini, who hammered 63 off just 28 balls, helping the Kings set an imposing 198-run target. Despite a hat-trick from Arjun Rapria (3/30) and disciplined bowling from Harshit Rana (3/35), the Strikers struggled to keep the scoring rate in check.
Chasing 198, North Delhi Strikers came out firing, with openers Sarthak Ranjan (52 off 26) and Arnav Bugga (43 off 13) tearing into the Kings’ bowling attack. The duo added 85 runs inside five overs to raise hopes of a successful chase. However, once Bugga fell, the momentum shifted. Regular breakthroughs from the Kings’ attack—led by Jonty Sidhu, Simarjeet Singh and Tejas Baroka (2/36)—halted the charge.
Despite flashes of resistance, the Strikers lost wickets at crucial stages and were restricted to 182/9 in their 16 overs, falling short by 15 runs.
Dhull’s stunning century not only powered his side to a commanding win but also cemented his reputation as one of the brightest batting talents in the league.
