It was a gathering that brought together sport, entertainment and a strong message on women’s health. Actor and international host Darasing Khurana joined Olympic boxer Vijender Singh at the third edition of Pink Power Run, where thousands of participants came together to support breast cancer awareness and preventive healthcare.
Organised under the leadership of philanthropist and entrepreneur Sudha Reddy, Pink Power Run 3.0 saw participants take part in 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K runs. The event brought together people from different walks of life, with Necklace Road turning into a hub of fitness and community participation.
Darasing Khurana’s presence brought an entertainment and hosting connect to the initiative, while Vijender Singh represented the sporting community. The two were among several familiar faces who came forward to support the cause.
The event also saw the participation of U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad Laura Williams, actor Siddu Jonnalagadda, television presenter Suma, music composer S. Thaman and former Miss World Opal Suchata Chuangsri, along with Sudha Reddy, Darasing Khurana and Vijender Singh.
While the presence of celebrities and public figures added visibility to the initiative, the focus remained on encouraging conversations around breast cancer, preventive healthcare and the importance of early detection.
With thousands of runners participating across various categories, Pink Power Run 3.0 brought together fitness and community spirit while highlighting an important message on women’s health.
