Yash Dhull Slams First Century of DPL 2025, Leads Central Delhi Kings to Dominant Win

New Delhi — The second season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) witnessed its first century in style as Yash Dhull powered Central Delhi Kings to a commanding 8-wicket victory over North Delhi Strikers at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Chasing a challenging target of 175, Dhull produced a stunning display of power and poise, remaining unbeaten on 101 off just 56 balls, decorated with 8 fours and 7 sixes. His knock was a perfect blend of timing and aggression, single-handedly dismantling the Strikers’ bowling attack and sealing the match in emphatic fashion.

Opening partner Yugal Saini chipped in with a quick-fire 36 off 24 deliveries, laying the foundation for the chase. Captain Jonty Sidhu provided stability at the end with an assured 23 off 19\, ensuring a smooth finish as Central Delhi Kings reached the target comfortably with overs to spare.

Earlier in the day, North Delhi Strikers put up a competitive total of 174/7 in 20 overs. Sarthak Ranjan led the way with a well-composed 82 off 60 balls, while Arnav Bugga injected momentum into the innings with an explosive 67 off 43 deliveries.Their partnership entertained the crowd and set the stage for a high-voltage chase.

However, the day belonged to Yash Dhull, whose century not only marked a personal milestone but also signaled Central Delhi Kings’ strong intent in the tournament.

With this victory, Central Delhi Kings strengthened their position in the points table, while Dhull’s match-winning century is already being hailed as one of the most memorable innings of the season.
