An exclusive B2B networking evening titled “Nepal Destination Wedding & OTAs Connect” was successfully hosted in New Delhi today, by the Hotel Association Nepal in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board and Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi. The event aimed to position Nepal as a premier destination for weddings, tourism, and hospitality partnerships. The evening witnessed an impressive participation of over 90 attendees, including 21 distinguished delegates from Nepal comprising leading hoteliers and hospitality professionals, along with around 45 invited Indian wedding planners and Online Travel Agents (OTAs).
The event commenced with a formal welcome, followed by insightful addresses from key dignitaries including Mr. Binayak Shah (President, Hotel Association of Nepal), Dr. Surendra Thapa (Minister/DCM, Embassy of Nepal), and Mr. Laxman Gutam (Director, Nepal Tourism Board). Industry leaders such as Neeraj Dhawan (Founder Chair, Indian Wedding Industry Association).Senior VP of HAN Mr.Prabin Bahadur Pandey underscored potential of Wedding Destination and committed to continue this type of Events in the years to come and expressed Vote of thanks to all the participants.

A special presentation was made by Mr. Tek Bahadur Mahat from HAN titled “Profile of Nepal’s Destination Wedding Properties” highlighted Nepal’s growing appeal as a unique and scenic wedding destination. Representatives from renowned hospitality brands including The Soaltee Kathmandu, Hotel Himalaya ,The Everest Hotel, Hotel Yak & Yeti, Barahi Hospitality & Leisure ,Lemon Tree Premier, Dusit Thani, Hotel Aloft Kathmandu, Chandragiri Hills Resort, Hotel Royal Tulip Kathmandu,Rupakot Resort ,Gokarna Forest Resort,The Terraces ,Hotel Crowne Imperial ,Village highland Resort,Manakamana Hill Crest Resort,Hotel Mercure ,Kathmandu Guest House,Dreamland Gold Resort,Pokhara Village & Spa ,Asian Buddha Hotel showcased their offerings and engaged in direct interactions with Indian partners.
The structured networking session enabled meaningful dialogue and collaboration opportunities between Nepalese hoteliers and Indian wedding planners and OTAs. The evening concluded with a cocktail dinner, fostering stronger business relationships and cultural exchange.
The initiative successfully reinforced Nepal’s positioning as a preferred destination for weddings and experiential travel, while strengthening cross-border tourism partnerships between India and Nepal.
