Gwalior, Day 9 of the Pro Panja League Season 2 brought high-octane arm-wrestling action as Kiraak Hyderabad and MP Hathodas registered emphatic wins. Kiraak Hyderabad defeated Rohtak Rowdies 18-12 to become the first team to cross the 100-point mark, while MP Hathodas thrilled the home crowd with a massive 25-7 victory over Mumbai Muscle.
The spotlight was firmly on 16-year-old Kimkima of MP Hathodas, who delivered a flawless 10-0 performance against Mumbai Muscle’s Vikram Sekhawat in the 100+ kg category. His dominant display earned him the Player of the Day award, making him the youngest star of the tournament so far.
In the specially-abled category, Srinivas BV of Rohtak Rowdies and Niranjan Singh of MP Hathodas impressed with convincing 2-0 wins. Kiraak Hyderabad’s Stewe Thomas grabbed the Bullet Badshaho ka Badshah award for his lightning-fast pin over Manoj Debnath.
In other highlights, Dara Singh (Rohtak Rowdies) and Siddharth Malakar (Kiraak Hyderabad) delivered gripping contests in the 100 kg and 90 kg divisions respectively. MP Hathodas’ Arya P capped off the day with a swift 5-0 triumph over Ardhra Suresh.
