Jahan Sikh, Vaha Seva”: Akshay Kumar’s Emotional Tribute Highlights Baisakhi Special on Wheel of Fortune

 

Mumbai, April 14, 2026: The Baisakhi Special episode of the popular game show Wheel of Fortune turned into a vibrant celebration of tradition, unity, and heartfelt emotions. Leading the festivities was Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who captivated audiences with his festive appearance and infectious energy.

Describing the spirit of service witnessed in Gurudwaras, Akshay said, “Aap kahi bhi Gurudware chale jaao, aap ko chhote bachche se lekar bade buzurg tak sab aap ko seva karte nazar aayenge.” He also expressed deep appreciation for the Sikh community’s unwavering commitment to helping those in need, stating, “Jab bhi maine dekha hai, jab bhi koi mushkil mein aate hai, toh hamari Sikh community sabse aage hoke unki madad karne nikal padti hai.”

Recalling the challenging times during the COVID-19 pandemic, he praised the community’s humanitarian efforts: “Mujhe yaad hai jab duniya corona se lad rahi thi, tab yeh humari Sikh community ne oxygen langar shuru kiya tha. Hospital ke bed se lekar oxygen supply tak aap log sab karte the.” He further acknowledged their global initiatives, noting how Gurudwaras opened their doors as quarantine centers and relief hubs during crises such as storms, floods, and earthquakes.

Summing up his admiration, Akshay beautifully remarked, “Main kehta hoon, ‘Jaha pe Sikh, vaha pe seva; jaha pe seva, vaha pe Sikh.’”

To mark the auspicious festival of Baisakhi, Akshay concluded the episode by sharing prasaad with the contestants and the audience, spreading joy and a sense of togetherness.
