In a significant initiative aimed at promoting women’s empowerment, children’s welfare, education and community development, the ShivaniSharma Foundation and Maitree Foundation are bringing together their respective social visions to create a stronger platform for meaningful social change.
Founded by actress, entrepreneur and social-impact advocate Hon.Shivani Sharma, the ShivaniSharma Foundation focuses on women’s empowerment, children’s welfare, education, healthcare,humanitarian support and community development.
Shivani Sharma, who has built her professional identity across entertainment, fashion and entrepreneurship, is using her public platform to encourage women and young people to pursue their ambitions while creating greater access to education, opportunities, confidence and skill development.
The foundation has already initiated practical welfare activities. At its Mumbai launch, laptops and sportswear were distributed to 50 students, reflecting its commitment to education and youth development. The foundation also plans to expand its initiatives to other regions, including Ranchi, as part of its wider vision for community welfare.
Joining this larger vision is Aishwarya Sangeeta Sachin Ahir, Founder of Maitree Foundation, who has been actively working towards the welfare and empowerment of underprivileged and vulnerable communities.
Maitree Foundation’s initiatives include sanitary pad distribution drives, educational assistance, E-Library programmes, health camps, distribution of essential commodities and social awareness programmes across Dharavi and other parts of Mumbai.
Aishwarya’s social commitment also extends to environmental conservation and animal welfare through initiatives such as Pet Garden and Pet Care, focusing on the care, treatment, protection and well-being of stray and domestic animals.
Together, the Shivani Sharma Foundation and Maitree Foundation represent a shared commitment towards building a more inclusive, compassionate and empowered society, with particular emphasis on women, children, education and community welfare.
